«Stories of a Brick» is a series made for the «Evolució» collection. Composed of a total of 25 bricks that have something to say. The brick is, in construction, a small part of a whole. Just like people we are a minuscule part of society. However, all bricks are important in construction to maintain its balance, in the same way that people are in society. In Valencian lands there is a saying that sums up this discourse very well, and it goes like this: «tota pedra fa paret». All the bricks make a wall, and all the people make a society.
A work where the two dimensions of the painting are combined with the three dimensions of the brick, thus opening up a range of expressive possibilities.
